Inspirational speaker; Author, Visiting Faculty at IIM Lucknow, Business and Marketing Leader
His talk is based on his book, "My Stroke of Luck - Alphabet to Author", a true story of courage, determination and willpower. He teaches "Sports Marketing" at IIM Lucknow. This course was created by him along with Shyam Balasubramanian. It is based on their book, The Business of Cricket - the Story of Sports Marketing in India and theirr vast experience in the field.
Vijay has published (with his co-author Shyam Balasubramanian) two books: If Cricket Is a Religion, Sachin Is God (published by Harper Collins, India in 2009) and The Business of Cricket - the Story of Sports Marketing in India (published by Collins Business, India in 2011).
His 3rd book (solo debut) on his stroke - his experience and recovery so far, My Stroke of Luck: Alphabet to Author (published by Hay House India in 2013) was #1 at Flipkart soon after the launch. Vijay has worked in Godrej, P&G and BP-Castrol for 21 years. His last corporate role was that of regional marketing director, Asia-Pacific (Auto lubricants) based in Singapore. He was key member of the regional leadership team.
